Editor,
It appears that we are living in a time when the focus is on the negative. For example, whenever someone says something, many others strive to find something that he or she said that can be questioned, regardless how small that may be; less than 1 percent of all that was said is deemed sufficient. Then that small percentage is focused on in the effort to cast doubt on all that was said and to create the impression that the one creating this doubt is superior to the one who spoke.
This approach to interacting with each other can only have one outcome, the total collapse of our society. Because only those societies in which people work cooperatively and compassionately together to manifest what is best for all can survive and prosper.
