Editor,
Did you know UNM charges graduate tuition for undergraduate-level classes taken as a prerequisite to a graduate class? I was told that because I graduated and hold a bachelor’s degree from UNM, I would have to pay graduate-level tuition for all classes, regardless of classification.
This is unfair. What about the students who are going to school for a second bachelor’s degree? Are they paying graduate-level tuition just because they already hold a degree from UNM? If I was charged what I deem correctly, I would save $600. This may not seem like a lot of money to some people, but it is to me and many other college students who are in the same boat.
