Editor,
It’s nice to know that in difficult economic times, UNM administration, headed by President Bob Frank, is looking out for UNM students by planning to offer more “amenities.” Whew. Thank goodness he didn’t propose something like cutting UNM administrative costs or offering students more aid. It is wonderful that UNM is not emphasizing energy sustainability by adding solar panels. That way, when oil prices go back up, UNM can gain as much as possible so it can keep paying all of those high-priced administrators. UNM, though just a lowly not-for-profit public institution, can continue to pay administrators as disproportionately as corporate America. Go, UNM.
Sincerely,
