That superior research haven which is the University of Texas at Austin is now set to allow concealed handguns not only on campus, but even in classrooms, thanks to this new Texas law enacted by your typical Texan yahoos right across from campus in this State capital’s legislature. So much for the peaceful and quiet environment required for the burst of ideas and intellectual thought among the typically timid nerds who get to study there.
What next? Typically, Texan insurance sharks go into a feeding frenzy scaring students into buying personal injury coverage because the situation among your classmates has become mutually tense, what with little spats rising to the level of mad dogging, then to playing chicken and “Was that sound a safety taken off or just a ball-point pen being clicked open?” and little chance of escaping crossfire when the whole thing blows up in a most unconcealed barrage of bullets ricocheting off classroom walls?
