I went to a local free food distribution. I saw NO healthy food! No wonder the epidemics of diabetes, cancer, obesity, alcoholism, mental illness and crime!
Now age 70, I have studied health for 40 years. Hundreds of articles, books, documentaries, speakers, conversations, my own experiences... Always more to learn and to re-learn!
The Max Planck Institute in Germany found that cooking food usually destroys 50 percent of the protein, approximately 6- to 70 percent of assimilable vitamins and minerals, up to 96 percent of vitamin B12 and nearly 100 percent of enzymes (the life energy) and phytonutrients. Raw plant-foods have about 10,000 phytonutrients – natural plant chemicals necessary for health.
I stopped eating meat and crap food largely in the 1970s. I stopped eating dairy largely in the 1980s. I stopped eating cooked food December 12 1998 – over 17 years ago.
I eat raw, living plant foods – soaked millet, peas, flaxseed, carrots, quelites (a highly nutritious wild green), alfalfa, garlic, ginger, other healing herbs and much fruit.
Do NOT heat raw plant foods over 105 degrees Fahrenheit to keep it living for best results. A cooked seed will never sprout! Cooked food is dead – slow poison.
We all will die, but until I die, I eat, I exercise, I sunbathe, I sleep to stay healthy! No cigarettes, no booze, no prescriptions drugs, no meat, no pop, no dairy, no processed, cooked crap! Why suffer?
The only material possession we each have from birth to death is our body! No other material possession can give us more misery or more pleasure!
