University of New Mexico football started the season with a big win against the University of Maine Black Bears 41-0. They had incredibly strong play and gave fans a lot to be excited about with 437 total yards. The defense only gave up 22 rushing yards and picked up three sacks.

The University of New Mexico men’s tennis team beat the Boise State University Broncos 4-0 Sunday, April 10 in Albuquerque. The Lobos have a losing record of 8-10 on the season but are 2-1 so far in conference play.
The University of New Mexico women’s tennis team lost to the United States Air Force Academy Falcons on Friday, March 25 in their first interconference match of the season. The Lobos are now on a three-match losing streak but still have a winning record of 9-4 on the season.
The University of New Mexico softball team lost two games to the New Mexico State University Aggies in a doubleheader on Tuesday, March 8 in Albuquerque. The Lobos went into the first game with a 10-game win streak.
The University of New Mexico men’s basketball team played the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Runnin’ Rebels at The Pit Saturday, March 5. The Lobos won 76-67 behind a team-high 27 points from Jaelen House. The last time these two teams played was Jan. 11 in Las Vegas where the Lobos lost 85-56.
