High Tech High at UNM Albuquerque will be off UNM's campus in the fall. A site has been found for the school at 2500 Yale SE, said Robin Troup, director of the school, although the lease has not been signed yet. "We decided the cost of being on campus was too much," she said.

March 21 A UNM police officer was dispatched to UNMH when a woman reported harassment from an ex-boyfriend, according to a police report. The woman told the officer that a former boyfriend was calling her cell phone and harassing her. The report stated the officer referred the woman to Domestic Relations at the Metropolitan Court House to apply for a restraining order.

UNM student Erin Schultz went to Australia in 2003 to study bioluminescent ostracods - animals that live in the ocean and glow in the dark. Staff Report A betting pool for March Madness advertised on campus led to the seizure of a student employee's computer, cell phone and records relating to the pool on Tuesday. The New Mexico Gaming Control Board came to campus to investigate after it received an anonymous tip from someone wondering how legal the pool was, said Greg Saunders, acting executive director of the board.
