Market brings local produce to campus

A sustainability course at UNM inspired a student to start her own farm and sell her produce at an on-campus growers market. The Lobo Growers Market began in 2007 as an annual on-campus growers market in an effort to help students eat healthy, but it has become a six-week, student-run event.

Football down two more players

UNM football players Rod Davis and Fatu Ulale were suspended by the NCAA on Wednesday for “impermissible benefit violations.” The UNM football program reported that the violations will cause Davis to be ineligible for the first two games of the season and Ulale the first four.
