Opinion: Limonata, the Nob Hill cafe creating community one sip at a time

The cafe scene in Nob Hill has always been a hotspot for students, but one spot is seeking to go beyond the usual cup of coffee: Limonata Cafe. Ever since I first came to Albuquerque, I’ve regularly returned to Limonata. On my first visit, I expected it to be your average spot near campus, but to my surprise, I stepped into a cozy and warm space filled with decorations that reminded me of my grandma’s house, plus a lush garden with fountains to sit beside while I enjoyed my meal. Beyond the aesthetic, the cafe uses fresh ingredients and serves high-quality dishes. Some of my favorites include their delectable crepes, house chocolate piñon coffee and their whimsical lavender lemonade.
