-Lobos bounce back for last-minute tie

The UNM women's soccer squad showed it's a team that just won't quit, coming back from two goals down against Hawaii on Tuesday to force its second draw of the season. The Lobos scored two goals late in the second half to tie the game at 3-3. Neither team could capitalize in two overtimes.

Team builds on early momentum, secures 2-0 win

The UNM women's soccer team secured its first win of the season on Friday, blanking the Baylor Bears 2-0 at the UNM Soccer Complex. Freshman Jael Fanning scored the first goal of the game off a corner kick from senior Hannah Hand to give the Lobos momentum early.

UNM cornerback Glover Quin overcame a groin injury last year and still managed to record 40 tackles and two interceptions.

After injury, Quin focused on the field

UNM senior and cornerback Glover Quin has solved the injury riddle. After overcoming a serious groin injury in his junior year, Quin still managed to receive Honorable Mention All-Mountain West Conference last year. Before coming to UNM, Quin played his first two years at Southwest Mississippi Community College before he transferred to UNM in 2006.
