The UNM Career Services Center assists students and alumni in developing, evaluating, and implementing career, education and employment decisions, according to its mission statement.
The center offers many services to assist students in their job or career choices.
Career advisement is available from career development facilitators, who help students identify their goals, write their rÇsumÇ, prepare for interviews and search for jobs.
The center also has a career resource lab that is designed to cater to students' job-search needs.
Students who wish to take advantage of the Career Services Center can register online.

After registering, students have access to job postings, on-campus recruitment and special events such as job fairs. The center has five job fairs scheduled for the 2002-03 school year.
The first, the Anderson School of Management Annual Fall Career fair, is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 24 at Johnson Center. Also scheduled are the Hispanic Engineering and Science Organization Career Fair, Oct. 3 and 4; the UNM and NMSU Public Service Career Showcase, Nov 19 and 21; the Career Expo 2003, Feb. 13 and 14; and the Educator's Fair 2003, March 13 and 14.
In addition to the job fairs, the Career Services job listing also helps students find potential employers. More than 1,200 potential employers are in the Career Services database.
Employers have can access the database for specific candidates that match a student's interest with an employer's needs.
The Career Services office is located in the Student Services Center, Room 220.
Office hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 am. to 6 p.m. For an appointment with a career advisement facilitator call 277-2531.
Walk-ins are taken Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
