Editor,
I just wanted to voice my opinion concerning your review of Rob Zombie's, "House of 1000 Corpses." I was outraged by your 1.5-star rating. What the hell did you expect - a freaking chick flick?
Seriously, Zombie followed the film noir style of all classic horror flicks. Granted there wasn't in depth dialogue, but hello, this is a horror movie - meant to scare the bejesus out of you, not get your philosophical juices flowing and make you question the choices you've made in your life. Cite one classic horror flick that had touching dialogue and a happy ending. Yeah, they're aren't any . . . and this new-age "Red Dragon" shit doesn't count!
I was completely outraged that you only gave Zombie's horror masterpiece a 1.5, but you gave Leahy's, "Mulletville" four stars. I think that your rating system is seriously whacked and that you need a new film critic.
If you're interested in contracting a new film critic let me know.
