Letter: ACLU causing problems; let McKay coach in peace

Give me a break - why is the ACLU trying to come in and cause problems?

Has anyone complained to them? I would see the issue if players were coming up and saying, "Coach McKay is shoving God at us, and I can't play unless I go to church."

But they haven't. In our society now we all need God.

So get off McKay's back and let him coach. No offense to the player who was quoted in the paper that the ACLU is basing this all on, but obviously his life was not headed in the right direction if he is getting stabbed in bar fights and it took a man like McKay to try to step in and help him.

God bless McKay, and God bless the Lobos.
