Letter: Better classrooms, labs should be financial priority

I think it's great that the governor is allocating monies to the University. However, couldn't some of the funds go to improving our aging classroom and lab facilities?

Obviously, Mr. Richardson has never sat through a class in Mitchell Hall or done any chemistry experiments in our lab facilities.

Maybe someday the powers that be might start thinking about the importance of academic achievement as well as athletic excellence.
