Editor,
I am writing in regards to the article printed about Dahn Yoga and its affiliated campus club, Body and Brain.
While I was pleased to have both sides of the issue represented in the article, I felt some of my quotes and opinions may have been misrepresented, because many of the facts that support the seemingly rash accusations were not included.
My opinion of the organization comes from facts and experiences. While I understand that the club does not receive funding from the organization, as the former secretary of the group - before I went to the camp - I know they collect dues from the members that go back to the Dahn Yoga organization, as well as charge for tickets to events that circulate back to Dahn Yoga.
I think it is important to note that I am not the only person or student who feels as I do about the organization. There are many reports and claims against the credibility of the organization, including Web sites with much more detailed accounts of the atrocities committed at the camp from people all over the United States. These Web sites include crucial details concerning a lawsuit filed against the organization for murder.
It seemed many interviews were done with people who are in support of the group, with only my voice to support the other claim. I encourage readers to do their own research, specifically checking the credibility of the practices Body and Brain teaches, if they are interested in the group from one angle or the other.

There was a very well-rounded and informative article printed in the Albuquerque Tribune that students may check into. Included in that article was a list of Web sites for each side of the situation.
I appreciate the Daily Lobo printing the article - my only criticism is the little credibility represented for my claims. Thank you for your attention to the matter.
