Editor,
Joachim Oberst makes a cogent point for the responsibilities and accountabilities associated with free speech in his letter to the Daily Lobo on Thursday.
But I'm curious - what was his position when Andres Serrano used public money to create his work of "art" of a crucifix in urine called "Piss Christ?"
Was he outraged? Did he write letters to the Daily Lobo condemning this similarly outrageous and irresponsible use of free speech?
Or is his condemnation more selective?
