Letter: Biased media neglects weapon-making in Iraq

Editor,

Many have claimed that no weapons of mass destruction have been found in Iraq.

However, according to the National Security Archive, there are chlorine and phenol plants in Iraq for the production of weapons of mass destruction. Also, the British government has published various documents about chemical and biological weapons that have been developed in Iraq. The problem is that the media distorts and presents all its information with an unfair bias.

Also, ever since Saddam Hussein was captured by our troops, Iraq has been trying to establish a democracy. Hussein was a ruthless dictator who oppressed and killed many of his own people. Furthermore, the killings of his two sons will help ensure that the Iraqi people will eventually be free from all the trouble caused by this regime. The Middle East is better off without Hussein and his two sons.
