As a committed reader of the Daily Lobo, I just wanted to express my disappointment in the paper for publishing something of as little quality as the Herb and Pete comic.
The Herb and Pete comic that you regularly print lacks any ingenuity or creativity at all. Each comic printed consists of nothing but text and maybe a mediocre drawing that just rags on a fictional persona established with one line. Does the artist have nothing better to write - or maybe even draw, since it is supposed to be a comic strip - other than telling the world and the people in it to go screw themselves and get a life?
He seems to be lacking in these life issues himself. His use of sarcasm is pointless anyway, because he has nothing of meaning to say.
It seems like this comic is just an excuse to get something published. It has no merit at all, and I would rather see something of more quality entertainment value in its place.
