Editor,
I just watched Al Gore's movie about global warming, "An Inconvenient Truth," and it was very concerning. It really made me realize that we need to do something about global warming right now.
Last semester, NMPIRG was working on getting renewable energy on campus, and I think this is a great step. It seems there isn't enough being done on the government level, so we as students need to be the leaders in this. I think that more students should be involved with this issue.
I think NMPIRG's work is great, but more students and faculty need to work together to get something accomplished. It's up to our generation to do something, so let's do it.
