Good news in Iraq doesn't get proper media coverage

Editor,

I would like to compliment Brian Fejer on what I found to be a rather lengthy rant Monday. He calls for the removal of effectively everyone in Congress, the president and the vice president. He proposes that we get rid of Congress. I don't know what world Fejer thinks he lives in.

Fejer also states that the U.S. media and military underreport the "daily loop" of violence in Iraq. What about the U.S. media underreporting the interesting finds in Iraq that the U.S. military has been making? The U.S. Army unearthed a squadron of MiG-25 Foxbat fighters near the al Taqaddum airbase - did anyone recall hearing about that on CNN? How about the mobile chemical weapons truck, found in the Iraqi desert and shipped to Los Alamos National Laboratory for research? Maybe Fejer has heard of the more than 250 mass graves found scattered throughout Iraq. Fejer must have at least heard of the nitric acid and chlorine cache found in storage houses.

Here's a thought: Let's let the military commanders run the war and do their jobs without the tag-along media. Let's throw the columnists and editors of the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal out on the streets. Let's kick out the directors of CNN

and MSNBC.
