Midterms are over, balloonists are flooding the city and Fall Break is days away. What’s a college kid to do? Plenty!

DJs, Drinks, and Dancing, Oh my!
Tuesday

Head over to Imbibe for College Night with DJ Automatic. Have a drink, hit the dance floor or just chat it up with other frazzled students. Imbibe is located at 3101 Central Ave. N.E. 21

Balloons aren’t the only colorful thing in town
Wednesday

Students who head to the Cornell Mall, southeast of the SUB, around noon will be rewarded with colorfully dressed flamenco dancers whirling about the area. Students from the National Conservatory of Flamenco Arts will perform for one hour.

Get some sleep, finally
Thursday, Friday

Sleep in! Fall Break means there’s plenty of time to make up for all that sleep you missed cramming for midterms. Plus, it’s cold outside and beds are comfy. All ages.

Follow that balloon!
Saturday

Enjoy a Saturday morning mass ascension of the 42nd Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta – and while not everyone can afford entry to Balloon Fiesta Park, many can still enjoy the thrill of watching the balloons flying above Albuquerque and even chase their favorite balloon around the city. The only cost here is a couple hours of sleep — mass ascension begins at 7 a.m. All ages.
