Feel the music
Tuesday

The John Ronald Dobb Composers Symposium will hold classes, workshops and concerts from 8:30 a.m. until 7 p.m. in Keller and Frederick Halls. A complete schedule for the symposium can be found at robbtrust.org. All ages.

Make your opinion count
Wednesday

The Associated Students of UNM will hold elections from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the SUB Atrium. Students will have the opportunity to vote for the new president, vice president and a few senators of the UNM student government. Students only.

Listen to the locals
Friday

Local singer/songwriters AJ Woods, Roger Cook and Robert Copeland will perform at Winning Coffee Co. for the Songwriter Showcase. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. and runs until 10 p.m. All ages. Winning Coffee Co. is located at 111 Harvard Drive SE.

Lean into the pitch
Saturday

Local author and journalist Al Manchester will offer tips and tricks to aspiring magazine writers on how to find stories and pitch them to editors. The “Writing for Magazines” seminar will begin at 2:30 p.m. and run until 4 at the Loma Colorado Main Library Auditorium. The library is located at 755 Loma Colorado Boulevard NE. in Rio Rancho. All ages.
