What do you think about the current public transportation system in Albuquerque, and how do you feel about proposed plans to change it later this year?
Hannah Clark, senior, fine arts
“I don’t like waiting for the bus, I wish it would come a little more often. That’s not a good idea, because Central (Avenue) is really crazy already.”
Nate Cuadra, sophomore, pharmacy
“I feel like the current system is probably a better idea. I feel like (a new system is) going to cause too many problems for everybody. That’s just going to be bad, problems with politics and all that stuff.”
Yoma Wilson, sophomore, civil engineering
“I have ridden the bus a couple times. It’s okay in the day, but at night I think it gets pretty dangerous. If it were a tram that would be one thing, because trams are so energy-efficient, it’s kind of a hassle for everybody else, those that aren’t in that system.”

Will Verrillo, sophomore, biology
“It’s actually quicker to bike. (The current bus system) takes a while, and it could be a little more efficient, but it’s a good deal. I think that would be a great idea.”
