Kuppaswamy Iyengar, a professor at UNM’s school of Architecture and Planning, recently released a book titled "Sustainable Architectural Design". Iyengar is also an associate director and Regents Lecturer at the School of Architecture and Planning. His accolades are plentiful, having more than 50 years of professional experience and receiving degrees in architecture as well as civil and structural engineering.
"Sustainable Architectural Design" covers various aspects of architecture. According to a press release, his book “serves as a guide to the sustainable design process that moves from theory, to site and energy use, to building systems and finally to evaluation and case studies.”
At the event he plans on discussing his book, along with holding a book signing.
The signing and discussion will be held Nov. 5 at 2 p.m. at the book store on UNM’s main campus.
