How old is too old to go trick-or-treating?

Teya Gutierrez, freshman, undecided
“I think it depends on who you are as a person. For some people, they’re very mature...I think once you’re at the point where you look so old to where you’re in a costume and you’re dressing all sexy and everything, that’s like way too old for you...I think a good age would be 21, because then you can go to parties.”

Alex Barounos, freshman, environmental science
“Can’t really be too old. Everyone loves candy, right? Everyone’s young at heart.”

Jasmyn Marquez, junior, engineering

“It’s never too old to trick-or-treat because it’s a lot of fun. A lot of people around our age maybe don’t trick-or-treat if they go out to parties or they go to scary houses...it’s just another fun (thing to do).”

Tyler Pennington, freshman, chemical engineering
“I would say right around 13, 14 as well. I just say that because I feel like when you’re around that age it’s fun to do, but when you get older, then you’re just kind of taking advantage of all the free stuff, but I think it’s fine to go if you’re taking siblings.”
