I was really excited to find out that UNM was holding events for Sexuality Week that were open to the public. I attend NMHU, and am very appreciative that I could receive this comprehensive education about issues I am often afraid to ask about.
The consent culture workshop along with the Friday event about body image was life-changing. I am proud to be a part of such a strong student body that can openly talk about issues that all of us are facing, in a comfortable, safe and educational setting.
Thank you to all the sponsors of this event, especially The Student Alliance for Reproductive Justice, for serving its community with accurate, comprehensive sexual education.
