Editor, Thank you for putting the article “Raising awareness of human trafficking” on the front page. Since reading it at lunch during my busy day at the hospital, I have not been able to stop thinking about human trafficking in all forms in the state of New Mexico.
Editor, Mr. Stafford has a remarkable talent for obfuscation and distortion of truth. He does an admirable job of building an entertaining and politically charged narrative.
Editor, Left unsaid in the current Chick-fil-A controversy is any mention of the appalling workload borne by chicken-processing plant workers, most of whom are undocumented immigrants.

Editor, The Student Senate voted to ban “Chick-fil-A” from the SUB because it wants to make the campus more friendly for gays?
Editor, I think it’s funny to see time and time again Republicans trying to shift the blame for their failures to Democrats. The Democratic Senate hasn’t passed a budget? Ha.
Editor, I was pretty disturbed to find out that the student government is trying to forcibly remove Chick-fil-A from the SUB.
Editor, I enjoy living simply and healthy on less than half the U.S. poverty level and less than half the federal income taxable level for me as a single person — to boycott the U.S. empire’s greed and wars.
Editor, The proposed ban on Chick-fil-A has aroused recent controversy. Diversity, hate, anti-gay and other rhetoric seem to be the buzz words in the news around this issue.
Editor, I applaud the ASUNM Senate vote regarding Chick-fil-A, and further hereby petition the University of New Mexico to remove all belief systems, opinions and speech originating from incorrect thought.
