LETTER: U.S. skepticism of weapons inspections in Iraq suspect

When I heard that Iraq was willing to let weapons inspectors back into its country, I breathed a sigh of relief. The foolhardy path of war that the Bush administration had such a hard-on for had at last come to an end. However, after a minute or so, the skeptic inside me thought the president would play down this event and look for another excuse to unleash our weapons of mass destruction upon the land and people of Iraq.
