Vincent Gallo's 'When' raw, truthful
Matthew Bollinger | November 15Vincent Gallo, a self-confessed sexual compulsive, has recently released his debut record, When. It's a record full of sweet melodies that lazily weave in and out of Gallo's heart as he sings about forgotten, egocentric crushes.

'Growing' tells of rural family values
Anna Angeli | November 15Part autobiography, part family memoir and part sickeningly cute, Craig Barnes' new novel "Growing Up True" celebrates the value of family in rural Colorado in the years after World War II. Or rather, it makes an effort to celebrate.
LETTER: Execution photo too graphic for publication
November 15There are obviously people at this University who are for war, against war and somewhere in between justice and revenge. The cover story of Wednesday's Daily Lobo was not only disturbing, but also disgustingly offensive.
EDITORIAL: ASUNM's theft of papers distressing
November 15I never dreamt I would say it, but I guess I just gave ASUNM too much credit.

LETTER: Students depend upon news Lobo provides
November 14I doubt, as some critics have voiced, that the members of the ASUNM Senate - and this is in regard to distributing funds - are partial to student organizations. When deciding how funds should be distributed, senate members have UNM's best interest in mind.
LETTER: ASUNM does handle money fairly
November 14I am writing in response to three letters that appeared in Wednesday's Daily Lobo, the first being ASUNM Vice President Steve Aguilar Jr. His assessment of ASUNM funding is 100 percent correct. In 1999-2000, I served as the attorney general for ASUNM.
COLUMN: ASUNM doesn't deserve funding
November 14Today my fellow UNM students, we embark on an important journey. Alright, maybe its not that important, but today's ASUNM election does have some significance.

LETTER: Lobo would cut ad rates if it truly cared about students
November 14This year ASUNM has done an outstanding job serving over 21,000 undergraduate students. It is extremely interesting that the editor of the Daily Lobo would refute this claim, due to the fact that the Daily Lobo reports on and is informed about all of ASUNM's events or services that are provided to students.
Undergraduate students to cast their ballots today
Andrew Webb | November 14Undergraduate students will choose from 24 Senate candidates vying to fill 10 vacant seats, and vote on five constitutional amendments, during today's ASUNM election.
Key to kicker's success this season is relaxation
Francisco Ojeda | November 14UNM senior kicker and punter Vladimir Borombozin is having an outstanding year for the football team. He has made 16 straight field goals, dating back to last year. His last missed field goal in a game was more than a year ago. He was nominated for the Lou Groza Award, which is given annually to the best field goal kickers in the nation, but he was not one of the three finalists for the honor.
Editorial: Above all, just vote
November 14Since you have made the effort to look at the Daily Lobo's opinion page, please don't stop here. You obviously care about what's going on around you
COLUMN: ASUNM shouldn't have touched Lobo's funding
November 14Hey buddy, can you spare $554,000? That is what the senators of Associated Students of UNM are asking students for today, and I would gladly give it to them.
