CIRT experiences technical difficulties

CIRT has had a rough month, and its troubleshooters are working overtime to solve problems that have affected UNM users’ Internet access. The UNM network has been experiencing intermittent connection problems from a variety of campus locations since the installation of new network equipment on May 19 in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering Buildings.

Lobos lose to BYU in second round of MWC Tournament

by Francisco Ojeda Daily Lobo The UNM softball team made a late-inning comeback, but threw the ball and the game away in the final inning to lose 4-3 to Brigham Young University in the Mountain West Conference Tournament at Lobo Field. After beating Colorado State University 2-0 earlier in the day in the first round, the fourth-seeded Lobos could not overtake the top-seeded Cougars.

Duo not your ordinary freshmen

In some ways UNM softball players Amy Dumas and Hayley Punter are treated like any other freshmen. They get hassled by their teammates, have to carry the upperclassmen’s bags and are required to put away equipment after practices.
