Player vs. Player

Balling till he's falling by Riley Bauling Daily Lobo Jose Canseco left his indelible mark on me when a fly ball bounced off his head for a home run in 1993. Canseco was an entertainer. He'll tell you this in his book, Juiced. And boy, if the 1993 incident is any testament, was I entertained.

Lobo victory advances quest for second place

The Lobos' catchphrase of the week was "must-win." Head coach Ritchie McKay said Saturday that Monday's game against Air Force was a "definite must-win" for the team. Malone will be missed

Sometimes sports make me sad. I was halfway through a dayshift at my waiting job Wednesday when my roommate called to tell me Karl Malone - my all-time favorite player on my favorite team in my favorite sport - had just announced his retirement.
