The No.5 team is the only team in the country yet to lose a game after No.1 University of Connecticut, lost 2-0 on Wednesday to West Virginia.

Messy win reminder to excel

It wasn’t a pretty finish, but a win is a win.
After putting away six goals on Friday in its 6-0 win over Denver University, UNM could only muster a one-point victory as it beat Air Force 1-0 yesterday, to take them to 11-0-2 for the season.
The only goal came in the first half as senior Lance Rozeboom was taken down in the box and converted the penalty kick.
“I am proud of the guys for grinding it out,” Rozeboom said.

Turning losses into experience

The Lobos took a nose dive midway through the season after they lost three games in a row, but they bounced back with a four game unbeaten streak, including three wins and a tie to San Diego State University (SDSU) last week.
