Letter: It may take a while, but UNM will grow on you

The fifth time around, the first week of school at UNM isn't so stressful. Fresh out of high school and missing my friends who went to out-of-state schools, the first year of college wasn't a pleasant experience for me. I hated the dorms, hated the cafeteria food, thought fraternity parties were a joke and decided Frontier Restaurant was overrated.

Letter: Minutemen volunteers fit to patrol U.S. border

Editor, It has been repeatedly stated that patrolling the border is the responsibility of federal agencies such as the border patrol and that well-meaning and untrained volunteers should not be trying to do it. In response to this, I would like to say that no one could agree more with this than the New Mexico Border Watch and Minutemen organizations.
