EDITORIAL: A time for thanks
November 27This past semester has gone by rather quickly and we now find ourselves on the cusp of Thanksgiving break. Since it's a time for giving thanks and even the most cynical of us are being swayed to get in the spirit of the holiday, I thought I'd offer my thanks to the people who have worked hard this semester to make my job a bit more bearable.

Perhaps this is because it's not a place you can go to, but something you could carry in your pocket -- an all-local music magazine called Transmission.

November 26Editor, The issue of smoking isn't about money or health, it's about choice. I hear liberals constantly arguing for "a woman's right to choose", well how about "a business owner's right to choose?" I understand that second hand smoke is dangerous and that maybe business will go up if a smoking ban is enacted, but it is not up to the state to make that choice.
