Students make national TV ad

UNM students will produce a television advertisement designed to recruit students. Director of the Communications and Marketing Department Cinnamon Blair said students have created the advertisement for the last two years.

Wolf Pack takes down Lobos

After splitting the first two games, the baseball team had a chance to take the series from Nevada but failed in the last inning. UNM lost 5-3 on Friday, and won 3-2 on Saturday.

Weekend more wins than loss

The softball team made it through Saturday with two wins, beating Northern Colorado and Central Arkansas, but failed to keep its undefeated season alive after it fell on Sunday to Purdue.

Clever textbook pruning proves not so clever

Custom textbooks aim to decrease cost to students, while CDs and online content seek to improve the learning experience, but many of these add-ons and custom books cost students more money in the long run. Students in Microbiology 352L were issued a custom textbook for UNM, published by McGraw-Hill.
