Staff Report Becca Barras, former All-American diver at UNM, finished in the top 10 in both diving events at the World University Games on Thursday as a member of the Canadian national team. On the 3-meter board, Barras scored 489.45 points and finished ninth overall out of 33 competitors.

Zollo showed up to Civic Plaza on Friday morning to protest the proposal. "It's these kids that come to my shows that buy the clothing on my back," said Zollo, who is the drummer for the band 12 Step Rebels.

Petrie takes over the job vacated by Mark Martinez, who left to join Tony Gwynn's staff at San Diego State University.
