Cancer Center servers hacked

UNM Cancer Center patients’ personal information may have been accessed by hackers, who attacked the center’s server in July. Center officials said as many as 2,365 patients’ information, including Social Security numbers, names and addresses, may have been accessed.

OMI rules death a homicide

The death of a UNM foreign exchange student host parent initially believed to be a suicide is now being investigated as a homicide. In July, Marc Herrera, 37, died at a foreign exchange student party held at his home in Northeast Albuquerque.
