One glance, and I already know who this person is. The most overused question on campus — “What’s your major?” — has just been asked and the response is, “I don’t know. I just know whatever it is, I want to make money and lots of it.”
The administration's Strategic Planning Task Force has just issued summaries of the strategic directions subcommittees' reports, and it is clear that, this time around, the administration is being much more subtle (more platitudes and meaningless jargon) than it was with the ill-fated UNM 2000.

Editor, It’s difficult to make a case for the Daily Lobo as the “Independent Voice of UNM” when the paper continues to print the fundamentalist editorial flotsam of Jeremy Reynalds.
Editor, Mr. Reynalds, I am a taxpayer as well, and I want my tax money to support public art. I want art to be available in museums, I agree, for public debate and discussion.
As droves of people begin to patronize tanning salons to get a head start on their tan this spring season, one question lingers: Is it more important to have healthy skin, or skin that is bronzed and beautiful?

Editor, Everyone has noticed the red writing on the concrete all around campus that reads, “I was raped here.” I suppose this is done by a rape awareness organization. However, is this the manner to get your message across?
Editor, Isn’t it ironic that while the Daily Lobo refuses to censor Jeremy Reynalds, he takes advantage of his privileged position as a columnist to promote censorship?
