Editor, In Joe Wagner’s column, printed in Monday’s Daily Lobo, the author’s gratuitous use of the word “one” left me wondering which “one” he was talking about. Also, the author has another troubling, but expected issue: the meaning of redistribution of wealth.

Editor, No matter how long since I have had sex with anyone, no matter how horny I am, I have no right to rape anyone ever. It is far better for me never to have sex with anyone for the rest of my life than for me to force anyone to have sex with me.

Walter White finally laid to rest

Weeks after the series finale of “Breaking Bad,” local fans laid to rest the memory of Walter White. The Saturday-evening funeral, held at Sunset Memorial Park, charged attendees $20 to remember and mourn the lead character of AMC’s TV show and to raise money for Albuquerque Health Care for Homeless (AHCH).

Uproar over White’s gravesite misinformed

Walter White’s final resting place isn’t so final after all. Fans who pushed for a burial site for the fictional “Breaking Bad” protagonist at Sunset Memorial Park are withdrawing their plans after a petition against the burial site was started by residents, according to a press release from the funeral organizers.

Bob Davie wasn’t angry or disappointed after the New Mexico football team’s 45-10 loss to Utah State on Saturday at University Stadium — he was humbled by the experience. UNM’s second-year head coach said he thought the Aggies exposed how immature the Lobos are.

Propelled by goals from Christopher Wehan and Riley McGovern on Saturday, the New Mexico men’s soccer team continues to lead the Conference USA standings. Wehan and McGovern each scored their second goals of the year in the Lobos’ 2-0 victory over Florida Atlantic.

Shutdown stymies UNM satellite launch

After repeated delays, the launch date of UNM’s first satellite, Trailblazer, is still lost in space. Craig Kief, program manager of Trailblazer, said the satellite launch has been delayed for more than a year. And the government shutdown has pushed the date further back, he said.
