Editor, This letter is in response to Brian Fejer's letter in Tuesday's Daily Lobo headlined, "Cowardly Americans get what they deserve." Are you an American citizen? Do you pay taxes? Do you vote? If so, I would imagine you would realize that President George Bush is in office because the majority of American citizens voted for him to lead the country.

Richardson signed legislation into law allowing illegal immigrants to get a state-issued driver's license and also allowing children of illegal immigrants to qualify for resident college tuition.
