From sweet to savory, cafe's fare pleases palettes

My brunch cravings were getting annoying until I found this fine desert eatery. I went to the Slate Street CafÇ during its Saturday brunch. Breakfast was served from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m., and lunch was available anytime after 11 a.m. I hadn't been awake for long, so I decided to go the breakfast route.

Fine Greek fare brings Mediterranean to Duke City

Yanni's Mediterranean Grill and Opa Bar is the fine dining experience avid food lovers search for. The Nob Hill Greek paradise opened 12 years ago. With Greek food on my mind, I walked in and was greeted by co-owners Nick Kapnison and Jimmy Daskalos, who showed me to my beautiful window seat.
